Rick was born in Red Bank, NJ, but raised in Carbondale. He graduated with a BA in Anthropology from SIU in 1991 then moved away for a while. He returned to Carbodale in 2001 to start and raise a family. He began Maxwell's Silver Hallmer, Inc. in 2004 which specializes in home repair and new construction. In 2010 Rick received his Real Estate License and is now with Five Star Realty in Carbondale.
